AMANDA DAVIS HARMS

News was received by relatives here Friday of the death of Mrs. Amanda Harms, 78, of Brook, a retired teacher and a native and former Montgomery County resident. She taught school in Montgomery and Newton counties. She was a daughter of Simon and Margaret Ellen Davis of this county and the wife of Allen Harms. He survives. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Blaydes and Mrs. Mary Anderson of Indianapolis and Dorothy Davis of Crawfordsville; a brother Clifford Davis of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Laurence (Patricia) Grundler of St. Louis and two grandchildren. The body is at Weston Funeral Home in Brook. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at the Brook United Methodist Church, with burial in that community. – jlr
